I am reminded of the scene in the movie “The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty” where Walter climbs the Afghan Himalayas and finds Sean O'Connell poised ready to photograph a rare snow leopard, but in the moment Sean chooses not to take the picture when the opportunity presents. Rather he savours the moment

Some people travel to the ends of the earth to grab the “money shot” for a magazine or documentary, or go to great lengths to get a photo, video or selfie from unique places for their Social Media page. Sacrificing themselves to gather these images like trophies 

As I journey through life, I find myself navigating mountain peaks, plains, deserts, deep valleys, prisons & palaces

I have come to the place where it is my intension to offer Him praise & worship & declare His goodness from whatever place I find myself, both geographically and internally. 

A selfless’ie if you will that I can post to an audience of one building a catalog of memorials to Him

We only have our lifetime to offer this kind of worship from the unique places and circumstances we find ourselves, like sending a post card back to our home in heaven. 

So when I find myself in either a tough time or a high place in life, I aim to give glory to God from that place

“Thank You Heavenly Father for the opportunity to bring You worship from this place, for the opportunity to offer You praise from this unique location in my life. You are truly good, You are Lord & You are my Lord. I worship You. I bless You from this place!”
